Mount Omuro (Omuroyama, 大室山) is a perfectly conical, 580-meter-high cinder cone volcano located near Ito City on the eastern coast of the Izu Peninsula in Shizuoka Prefecture. 🔗 Formed approximately 4,000 years ago during the Late Jomon Period, this dormant volcano is part of the Izu-Tobu volcano field within Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park and serves as a key geosite in the Izu Peninsula UNESCO Global Geopark. 🔗
